Background
This workshop is a 2-day workshop for communities that are preparing to implement their own research project.
At the end of the 2-day workshop participants have:
- A basic understanding of research processes in Nunavut.
- An introduction to research methods, particularly methods that are frequently seen in Nunavut
- An increased understanding of ethics and ethical issues in Nunavut
- An increased familiarity with print and digital resources that are currently available and can be used to enhance community-based research.
Costs
Costs can vary – we usually try to leverage other funding to ensure the workshop is at no cost to the community, unless the community already has the funds.
